9. Exiled

Once all the Mayans have been found, they start their final exit out of the monolith. They realize that the eye’s energy is close behind them. They find the exit, but the eye does not seem to be slowing down. The power it had gained from the touch of a Mayan had granted it strength to exit into the outer world. It rises above the monolith and begins its wrath on the outside world. (This is the picture seen in the album art). The voice of the primordial souls reverberates throughout the torn-up earth: “I AM THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS”. Guilt drains the blood from the Mayans’ faces. They realized that they have unleashed terror upon the world. They realize that in order to vanquish this evil, they must seal it back inside the monolith. A war breaks out between the primordial souls and the Mayans over the control of the land. The war between the two goes back and forth, battle after battle but the Mayans seem to gain the advantage in the end. The Mayan's seal away the malice of the souls of the primordials, never to be seen again. With the land torn and barren from war, the Mayans begin to start anew.

lyrics

Exiled

*Primordials*

Enter the end of the world
And welcome a prehistoric reign
Ravage the offerings
To engineer devastation
Blood paints a fissured earth
Concealing your egotistic existence
I am the destroyer of worlds **
Bow down to your new god

Your new god

Feed your fear to gods immortal
Release your soul to me
Consume to your despair
Feel my fire, taste the power as
You claw away, only to delay
Your fall into doom

*Mayans*

Evil surges from my hand
Is it all too late, to seal away
This essence of maleficence
Pained regret fills my soul with the courage to fight for the life of all those that I’ve known

Alone and left vacant
At the edge of our time
I stand reawakened
With the light by my side

I’ll seal away these vices in
Immortal infamy
Returned to hell from which they came
Exiled from history
For us to stay alive,
They must die

*Primordials*

If a war is what you want
Then a war is what you’ll get
I will feast upon your flesh as this world turns into ashes
Reign through the offerings
The weakest links provide the best substance
Wearing thin your new might will fall

The gears of the war turn in favor of the vile
The fear of spawn settles in with the bile

*Mayans*

I won’t lose it all away
I’ll fight with all I have

*Primordials*
Your strength will dissipate

*Mayans*

Mortal rage flames inside my mind
Fueled by a heart of fire

*Primordials*
Extinguished at my grasp

*Mayans*

I’ll seal away these vices in
Immortal infamy
(Immortal infamy)
Returned to hell from which they came
Exiled from history
(Exiles from history)
For us to stay alive,
They must die

*Primordials*

Your ego deceives you
You’re swallowed in pride
You’ve won a battle
But now you must
Prepare for a war

Kneel to the power before you
Cede to the haunting doom
Return to an old world
To be enslaved by the gods

*Mayans*

Terror reigns
This world is breaking apart
A withered strain
Is infecting the purest of heart
I won’t let them fester
These vices will heed my name
Imprisoned for all time
Sent back to Hell by my blade

Taken by surprise only to be
Dammed to endless time
Weakened but alive to rot inside
This prison for a mind
The end of a kind
A survival designed

*Primordials*

Enter hell

Attempts to subdue extinction
May suffice to pose a threat
In spite of your greatest endeavor
I will not leave this earth

*Mayans*

Seal them away
Follow into the fray
Break them and
Cause them to leave this earth

*Primordials*

Awakened to be returned to dust
The wrath of a god was not enough

*Mayans*

Enveloped in light
This darkness will wither and die
A protector of souls and mortality
Will write a story of our victory

Sealed away and locked up tight
An eroding of their minds
Our earth restored
The ancient era has ended
Saving the lives of us all
We start anew

This plague has ended
We’re free from the wrath of a god
Our earth restored
Our beings mended
By man and his will to survive
We start anew
